traditional cut. At first
glance, this dirndl of
jacquard fabric seems
very restrained. A closer
look reveals intriguing
details: ruffles and
piping embellish the
neck edge and section
seams and a typical
pencil-pleating tape lays
the skirt in even folds.
The fabric of the apron is
also used for the front
bands of the bodice.
Beneath it all, a classic
dirndl blouse with
half-long sleeves is
worn. The hem edges of
the blouse are bound
with bias strips.
