Spring is coming! And with it is this issue celebrating the return of pleasant weather and sunny skies. You can also discover this month’s competition commemorating Burda Style's 70 years. Show off your skills for a chance to win a wonderful prize! March has traditionally always been the preparation month for the big day. Wedding bells, anyone? So, we met up with just a few who chose Burda models to say, “I do!”. Our collections are also bursting with unique looks and joyful styles. The first collection, “Spring Freshness,” is an absolute delight, blending neon shades and snakeskin patterns over breezy pieces perfect for the season. What follows is a true beacon of fashion! The world of seafarers and sailors inspire this fun and favoured spring wardrobe. This collection's cuts are urban and feminine with a slightly sporty touch. What’s next is freedom and folk in this 70s-inspired Badlands collection. A mix of denim, trendy ethereal pieces, and fine detail make up this lovely “Wild Heart” collection. And little girls will be pleased as a peach to put on this cute rainwear for sizes 86-110. Our Plus collection is an array of light, beautiful pieces that fuse urban and chic for a very smart look. This month's designer model is a stunning wedding gown and our retro model is a lovely dress in jacquard that truly emulates the sophistication of the 60s.

Spring Freshness

Fraîcheur printanière - Burda style mars

This collection is all about unique silhouettes and feminine forms. Full of panache, each piece is representative of the patterns and colours so in vogue this spring season. Aren't you just swooning over this oh-so-trendy snakeskin pattern? It pairs so well with the elegant dress to the left. And neon tints of green and yellow illuminate these muslin-made classic models. You're sure to look easy, breezy, and beautifully modern.

Sea Breeze

Vent marin - Burda style mars

The sailor style has always been a favourite of the spring season. This just might have something to do with the fact that this look is a swell of colour and light that go so well together. Pieces in this collection are chic and embellished with sporty touches for a laid-back look. Jackets and blouses can be worn solo or throw them over a top like this cheerful cardigan to the left.

Wild Heart

Cœur sauvage - Burda style mars

Tops and blouses are ethereal, airy and light. Dark-blue denim is stark, and the clear cuts of the pieces make this full collection truly charismatic. It is the contrasted coupling of romance and wild. Breezy fabrics, drop beads, and delicate lace are a nod to the wayfarer life in the arid Badlands of the west and subtly distinguish blouses, skirts, jackets and frocks.

It's Raining, It's Pouring...

Il pleut, il mouille... - Burda style mars

This wardrobe of practical rain suits, jackets, a parka and little hat will be fun for your little ones to wear as they splash about in the rain! Easy-to-wash ware from the slick outside coating makes it possible to get wet and wild, yay! Models are for sizes 86-110.

In Style at the Office

Avec style au bureau - Burda style mars

These pieces are both elegant and preppy as they emerge from a palette of beiges, corals, magentas, and orange sherbets. Distinguished fabrics such as silk and viscose make these tops and blouses a delight to wear. Made from simple cuts heightened with refined details and tasteful touches, this collection adds just the right amount of pop for any office attire! Models are for sizes 44-52.

The Designer Piece and Vintage Model

Pièce de créateur et modèle vintage - Burda style mars

Our designer piece of the month is a divine wedding dress with a full and airy skirt in silk and organza that ends in a train. The modern-style bodice is completely made from delicately detailed lace. The vintage model of this month is a blend of grace and harmony. This jacquard dress is inspired by a piece from 1961. The flattering cut and sweetheart neckline are fabulous details in addition to the lovely little sleeves and cinched waist.

All of these models can be found in the March issue of Burda Style, in shops since February 14th!
