This year is a very special year for Burda, which celebrates its 70th birthday! Every issue will give you a glimpse of Burda’s history, highlights and stories about its famous creator Aenne Burda. Major events of Burda Group will debut this magazine. Springtime longing and beautiful days begin to bloom! February is perfect to get started on some spring pieces. The first collection will therefore be ideal! Feminine cuts are paired with paisley patterns and other colourful combinations. Then homage is rendered to the renowned actress Diane Keaton, who inspired these always composed and classy androgynous black and white pieces. Next stop: Paris! This mod collection of Parisian chic is elegant, laid-back and urban. Light colours and pastels complete the look. The new season is stupendously striped for sizes 44-52! These curve-flattering shapes draw on trendy cuts and comfortable styles. Our little ones in sizes 116-140 will also benefit from cosy indoor pieces adorned with fun and funky motifs. Our it piece of the month is an iconic trench coat that will have many heads turning this spring. The vintage model is a 50s-inspired dress with crisscross bodice and a ravishing carroll skirt in sumptuous jacquard with embellished poppies.

Mix & Match

Mix & Match - Burda style février

Bold colours and beiges will discreetly spruce up any wardrobe this season. This collection’s cuts are subtly feminine made from lively and paisley patterns. One thing is for sure: these pieces are classic, chic, and worldly. Tops and blouses benefit from breezy fabrics, as trousers are comfy and relaxed. Fitted jackets and elegant frocks finish up this great ensemble.

Cinématographique - Burda style février

This look of black and white chic draws from Hollywood icon Diane Keaton, known for her tailored slacks, button-down shirts and black hats. These gender-neutral cuts are simple, sophisticated and stylish. Doubled breasted garments, ties, and subdued masculine details make their mark on these classy models with their je ne sais quoi character.

New Parisian Chic

Néo-chic à la parisienne - Burda style février

Were you tentative? Unsure? Well, this selection is sure to win you over with its fabulously sporty chic style. It’s known around the world that Parisian women are active, urban and incredibly elegant. These three features are fused with a slight sporty touch for a look that is casual and hip. Fashionable knit also makes its way into this wardrobe, such as with this stunning perfecto jacket.

Stripes Knocking Us Sideways

En long, en large, diagonal - Burda style février

Stripes loud and proud announce the beginning of the spring season. The models of this collection are structured with sharp, swanky lines. We leave the nonsense behind us as we embrace vertical, horizontal and diagonal bands that highlight curves and voluptuous shapes, such as these lovely trousers or this pretty frock. On blazers, blouses, dresses and trousers, we dare to go bold in every angle for sizes 44-52.

My Dear Darlings

Mes chouchous - Burda style février

Soft and simple pieces your little ones will absolutely adore! Jersey is paired with fun patterns for these easy-to-make models. We particularly love the little embellishments found on every piece. This collection is great and comfortable for indoor play, sports or repose for sizes 116-140.

The It Piece and Vintage Model

It-pièce du mois et modèle vintage - Burda style février

The trench is our it piece of the month. Ours to the left is cropped and made from breezy Tencel. The look is relaxed and trendy, and the model is easy to pair with anything. And if you’re looking for a more fitted look, have no fear: a sash is incorporated at the waist. Each sleeve also contains ties, adding that little extra something to this already marvellous model. The vintage model to the right is a nod to the 1950s. The draped crisscross bodice ends in an empire waist, giving way to a fantastic and full carroll skirt. This model is even more of a delight thanks to its ravishing poppy red and blue jacquard fabric.

All of these models can be found in the February issue of Burda Style, in shops since January 17th!
